Pearl giggled, then waved the arm of the teddy bear she was holding, a red ribbon tied around its neck and a small button taped to its front. "Oh no! Not again, Franzy!"

"My name is Ms. von Karma! Fool!" Mileina waved Franziska (a stuffed rabbit)'s whip (a piece of wiring) in the teddy bear's vague direction.

"Oh no! How will she ever realize my love if I keep forgetting that!?"

Maya, waiting outside the bedroom door with a plate of juice and snacks, wisely decided not to ask.
