Itsuki + Shiro, Beta theme set

1.Itsuki suspects that Shiro, floating around the house as usual, must save a lot of money on shoes.

2.Shiro grabs Azula and waltzes around the room in glee, which is interesting to watch, seeing as Shiro doesn't know how to waltz.

3.“If wishes were fishes, we'd-- shit, I forgot the metaphor, but speakin' of fish, are you gonna eat that?”

4.Itsuki wondered what would happen if he and Shiro had actually been brought up together, and came to the conclusion that he wouldn't have lived past ten.

5.Shiro floats by with Rachel on his back, but Itsuki doesn't worry-- his brother has a soft spot for children, and hasn't dropped her yet.

6.They work together to make Rachel a headband with cat ears attached, and Cuddy can't stop laughing.

7.Teamwork: Shiro suggesting Azula burn the compost, and Itsuki finding a fire extinguisher.

8.Shiro thinks Itsuki needs to have more fun; Itsuki thinks Shiro needs to stop doing things that end up with both of them puking.

9.In Itsuki's mind, Shiro as a general makes about as much sense as giving the position to an actual cat.

10.They sit together on the couch watching a TLC wedding marathon for six hours before they realize how long it's been.

11.For his birthday, Shiro gives him a new chess set, a jacket, and a hangover.

12.“Sure I can go into churches-- I ain't got no beef with the big J, man.”

13.Shiro claims Itsuki is biased against Nena; Itsuki says there's no way for him to know, as he never realizes anyone else is speaking when she's around, anyway.

14.Shiro decides he wants toast for breakfast, and twenty minutes later everyone is out on the curb, waiting for the firetrucks.

15.They hide in the hall closet, barely breathing, as Azula flies into her daily rage.

16.“Mom didn't... like that lamp, right?”

17.It's a strange sort of security, knowing that if you ever get in trouble, a vengeful cat demon will come along to wreak havoc on your enemies.

18.While Shiro naps, Itsuki rubs leftover balloons from Rachel's party on his ears until they stick to the walls.

19.They decorate the balcony in the hospital's main lobby, and flee before House's shift starts.

20.“You two are the bane of my existence,” Azula says, but they all know that they're very low on the list.

21.Lisa Cuddy woke up to a quiet house, and considered preemptively calling the police.

22.Shiro absentmindedly turns around a few times before settling down on the bed, and Itsuki has to leave the room because he can't control his laughter.

23.“Okay, your turn, bro-- Tyki, House, and Satan, cliff/shag/marry?”

24.It's a constant battle to get one of them to shower in less than half an hour, and the other in more than thirty seconds.

25.Whenever Cuddy desperately considers quitting her job, Shiro swoops in to babysit.
