Setsuna Boggles at Rich People, parts 1-25

1.Every day for a month, while Setsuna's in a coma, Tamaki adds two or three new stuffed animals to the growing pile on his bed.

2.A few brave girls try and cajole Setsuna into playing spin the bottle one day; he was on the verge of accepting, not knowing what sort of game it was, when Tamaki swooped down from the blue on a rescue mission.

3.The stuffed robot is the first thing to go into Setsuna's suitcase.

4.Sometimes Setsuna shouts in the night; Tamaki never asks why, just appears from the other side of the wall a few minutes later, hot chocolate in hand.

5.“Is there anything in the world more beautiful than the taste of commoner french fries-- where are you going, Setsuna!?”

6.During thunderstorms, Tamaki tended to dive towards the phone; he never realized that Setsuna knew who he was calling, and why, better than he did.

7.Setsuna opens the door to his locker on the fourteenth, sees the pile of chocolate within, and promptly closes it.

8.Setsuna is as animated as Tamaki has ever seen him, and Tamaki makes a mental note to take him to that Gunpla shop in Akihabara more often.

9.To Setsuna, a telephone was something used for practical communication; he tended to leave it on the table unattended while Tamaki babbled, because it usually took him at least half an hour to realize Setsuna wasn't listening.

10.Setsuna's ears still perk up when he hears gunfire on the television, but he no longer reaches for a sidearm which is no longer there.

11.The girls in the club make a game out of coming up with new kanji combinations for Setsuna's last name; when he doesn't understand the jokes, they start teaching him, and his composition grades start rising.

12.“Tamaki Suou, I am not dressing as a harem boy.”

13.Setsuna looked at the angels on the Christmas displays for a long moment, before turning and walking off, expressionless as usual.

14.When Tamaki asked Setsuna gravely if anyone had told him about what went on between males and females, Setsuna wandered off for about ten minutes, coming back with a pair of power couplings (plug and socket) and a quizzical stare.

15.Setsuna barely flinched any more when Tamaki attempted to hug him; the boy had very predictable angles of attack, and it was nothing to silently step out of the way.

16.Setsuna's weakness on the charm front proves to be a strength, as the girls latch onto him as their new project.

17.A girl in the club started sniffling over a failed test; Setsuna handed her a handkerchief; Tamaki beamed with pride.

18.The speed with which Setsuna kicked a soccer ball in gym class drew cheers; then it drew horrified gasps, as the ball hit the goalkeeper squarely in the stomach.

19.When Setsuna got wind of the four or five girls who had crushes on him, he stared at Tamaki quizzically for a moment, before returning to his book as if nothing had happened.

20.During free period, Setsuna could often be found on the roof of the school, along with twelve or thirteen girls eager to figure out what he did with his free time.

21.Tamaki knew that the end was coming; he quietly arranged to have Setsuna's debt settled, and loudly arranged for a going-away party wishing Setsuna luck.

22.The robotics club was jealous of the Host Club's find, and a week of warfare ensued, during which the girls conspired to keep Setsuna with them, the robotics club conspired to lure him in, and Tamaki fell down a flight of stairs (unrelated).

23.Setsuna's hands had a firmer grip on a wrench than a pencil, their callouses out of place in a classroom where even the boys used imported hand lotion from Europe.

24.Setsuna ate everything put in front of him without complaint; the maids had to rely on subtle tells, such as a slight flaring of the nostrils or crease in the forehead, to divine what foods he didn't like.

25.Tamaki took to quizzing Setsuna as the boy worked on Exia; otherwise, the Gundam would be clean and well-oiled, while his tests were left half-blank.
