[ So the Doctor, eh brings kids to spaceships and doesn't afraid of anything. Mileina's voluntarily taken on the job of babysitter, so she's attempting to corral everyone in the cafeteria for lunch-- feel free to run off or stay there or anything you like, this is a general action post for fun times! ]

[He doesn't afraid of anything alright, including weird food. That weird cool Doctor guy is currently chilling in the cafeteria with your bogstandard space-block food in front of him on its tray. He's also now proceeding to take a jar of marmalade out of one of his pockets, unscrew the lid, and bang it on the table in front of him.

... and yes, yes he is dipping the VEGETABLE block into the marmalade and eating it. Go figure. :|]

[ hi doctor, you can see tiny-nena's eyes and nose peering at you from the other side of the table suspiciously, as she stands on her tiptoes to observe ]

[am nam nam veggie block and marmalade. He looks over at Nena, raises his hand and gives a little wave, with a cheeky grin on his face]

[ reeeeeaches across the table and flails her hand for the marmalade, what is this mysterious substance??? ]

[He swallows and proffers the pot.] D'you want some?

[ sticks her fingers right in and licks them, sorry ten ] It's sweet!

[timey_wimey]

[Eh, he eats marmalade out of the pot with his fingers too, s'okay.] It's called marmalade, it's made from fruit and sugar. [... and he's following her example too. Mmmm, marmaladey fingers.] Good, isn't it?

Yeah! [ and here she goes crawling under the table to climb up on his lap so she can reach better ]

[Oh, hello there small child o3o He'll just give you a hand up there, looking a bit bemused.]

[ Soran is sitting apart from everyone else against the wall, watching the others warily, not too sure what to make of them. And he may be eyeing the food with more interest then most people would give a vegetable block, but he's been hungry for days so right now anything looks good ]

[Michael is eyeing Soran as he eyes the food. He sighs and goes up to him]

Don't just stare at it, stupid. If you're hungry, go get some.

[ Totally charming. Soran looks up at Michael with the beginning of what will, in future years, be the world's liniest linefais. He stares at him for a few seconds, then nods and pushes himself to his feet, walking over to where the food is. He hesitates, not sure how much to take ]

[ Michael jiii's back, following along behind Soran because obviously he can't be trusted to do it right. He picks up several food blocks and drops them into Soran's arms]

['Why did I get stuck with the stupid one' is the only thought running through Michael's head.]

Food. Duh. [He points as he speaks] That one's vegetable , an' that one's s'posed to be meat.

[ He just looks at them a bit longer before retreating back to his wallspace, sitting down and tucking into them like they might be his last meal for a while. After a few minutes, he looks up at Michael again ]

[ He bites his lip, then nods once, jerkily, his gaze continually straying from hers to the food ]
