I simply wonder if you have taken into consideration the unusual nature of our home and lifestyle. While it is normal to us, it may be somewhat frightening for her. What is more, she may have her own moral objections. I would not want to be responsible for the sabotage of your friendship by allowing you to overlook such possibilities.

I understand, Mr. Erde... but I think that Pearly has had a lot more experiences than you think. She's grown up in unusual circumstances as well, you see! And I'm very sure that she'll understand. After all, we're on the right side!

I understand your concerns, but I've thought very carefully about this, and it's something I really do want to do! So if you don't have any security concerns, I think I'd like to take the chance that she would be upset. She's my best friend, Mr. Erde, and I really want her to know everything!
